On November 4th, GWM Partners gathered clients and partners at the Fasano Itaim Hotel for a breakfast discussion on the 2025 market outlook, 2026 perspectives, and the impact of recent tax changes on the wealth and estate planning of families and businesses in Brazil.

The panel was moderated by Julio Santos, Partner at GWM Partners, and featured two distinguished guests.
André Simões, Partner and Head of Investment Solutions at Vinci Compass, shared a comprehensive view of the global and local macroeconomic landscape, highlighting the structural challenges Brazil will face regardless of the outcome of the 2026 elections. He also emphasized the importance of portfolio diversification as a key strategy to navigate periods of uncertainty and market volatility.

Next, Diogo Figueiredo, Partner at Schneider Pugliese Advogados, presented a practical analysis of the ongoing tax reform discussions, focusing on Bill 1087/25, known as the Individual Income Tax Reform. He outlined the potential impacts on high-net-worth individuals and business owners and discussed legal strategies for improving tax efficiency while remaining fully compliant with current legislation.

GWM Partners thanks André Simões and Diogo Figueiredo, as well as Vinci Compass and Schneider Pugliese Advogados, for their valuable participation, which helped make the event a high-level exchange of insights on the key forces shaping Brazil’s investment landscape today and in the years ahead.
